چکیده
The geological effects of rock blasting in silt-rock strata are complex, and the vibrations caused by threaten safety inhabitable areas. Based on measured data for at site dynamic finite element simulations, propagation characteristics were studied. surface, vertical vibration velocities from surface to tunnel, attenuation along tunnel’s axis analyzed. results this study as followings: direction axis, peak particle (PPVs) decreases with increasing horizontal distance explosion source. magnitudes PPVs under five working conditions same when is right above center source 10 m away center. In source, silt stratum, increases gradually direction. change thickness artificial fill shield interval has little effect axis. provide a reference identifying around areas similar conditions.

An Evaluation of Rock Integrity and Fault Reactivation in the Cap Rock and Reservoir Rock Due to Pressure Variations
Cap rocks are dams which can prevent the upward movement of hydrocarbons. They have disparities and weaknesses including discontinuities, crushed areas, and faults. Gas injection is an effective mechanism for oil recovery and pore pressure. With increasing pore pressure, normal stress is reduced, and the integrity of impermeable boundaries (cap rock, fault, etc.) becomes instable. A successful ...
متن کاملPrediction of Rock Fragmentation Due to Blasting in Sarcheshmeh Copper Mine Using Artificial Neural Networks
The main objective in production blasting is to achieve a proper fragmentation. In this paper, rock fragmentation the Sarcheshmeh copper mine has been predicted by developing a model using artificial neural network. To construct the model, parameters such as burden to spacing ratio, holediameter, stemming, total charge-per-delay and point load index have been considered as input parameters. A m...
متن کاملPrediction of fragmentation due to blasting using mutual information and rock engineering system; case study: Meydook copper mine
One of the key outcomes of blasting in mines is found to be rock fragmentation which profoundly affects downstream expenses. In fact, size prediction of rock fragmentation is the first leap towards the optimization of blasting design parameters. This paper makes an attempt to present a model to predict rock fragmentation using Mutual Information (MI) in Meydook copper mine. Ten parameters are c...
متن کاملApplication of Confined Blasting in Water-Filled Deep Holes to Control Strong Rock Pressure in Hard Rock Mines
In extra-thick coal seams, mining operations can lead to large-scale disturbances, complex overburden structures, and frequent and strong strata behavior in the stope, which are serious threats to mine safety. This study analyzed the overburden structure and strata behavior and proposed the technique of confined blasting in water-filled deep holes as a measure to prevent strong rock pressure. I...
